Detect early.
Restore fully.

We build technology to help biological change be understood earlier, and pursue research into how the body might regain its capacity to heal.

Why change over time matters

Health results arrive as snapshots. Biology happens over time.

Our work

Two programmes. One direction.

A technology platform and a research direction, at different stages and with different aims.

In developmentNot clinically validated

EDDS

The Early Disease Detection System: an AI-assisted platform being developed to organise and interpret biological information over time.

  • Building a personal baseline from prior results
  • Flagging meaningful change against that baseline
  • Plain-language findings for review by medical experts

Active researchNot a therapy

Regenerative Medicine

Research into why some organisms regrow damaged tissue, and the biological conditions that may help mammalian tissue regain regenerative capacity.

  • What strong regenerators can teach us
  • Müller glia and retinal regeneration
  • The gap between regenerators and adult mammals

What EDDS helps answer

Four questions, asked of your own results.

EDDS is being built to answer the questions a single result can't.

Meet EDDS

Software today. Connected tomorrow.

The platform is software and biomarker analysis today. Connected monitoring hardware is the longer-term direction.

TodayWorking prototype

The platform

EDDS prototype: a sample patient overview with collection dates and tracked biomarkers
  • Ingestion — lab documents read into structured results
  • History — snapshots joined into one longitudinal record
  • Analysis — statistical baseline and change detection
  • Findings — AI-assisted plain-language summaries
  • Evaluation — true and false positives and negatives checked on test data

Working prototype. Not a clinically validated diagnostic system.

FutureConcept

Connected monitoring

Concept diagram: the EDDS intelligence layer at the centre, connected to lab results (today), wearables and portable diagnostics (future) and smart sanitary systems (concept). Their signals combine into one view of a person's health: more data, better insights, earlier action.
  • Lab results Today
  • Portable diagnostics Future
  • Wearables Future
  • Smart sanitary systems Concept

Future monitoring systems must respect privacy, consent and data protection.

Learning from regenerators

Nature already regenerates.

Some organisms rebuild tissue that adult mammals cannot. Understanding why is where our research begins.

How we label claims

Evidence, clearly labelled.

Every biological claim on this site carries one of three labels, so you know what is known, what we propose, and what still needs testing.

Privacy & consent

Health data belongs to the person it describes.

EDDS is being designed around a few principles that come before any feature.

  • Consent first

Information is used only with the informed consent of the person it belongs to.

  • Reviewed, not automated

Findings are for review by medical experts. EDDS is not an automated diagnosis.

  • Minimal and protected

Collect only what is needed, and keep it secure.

These principles are intended to align with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). This website does not collect health information. Privacy Policy

FAQ

Common questions.

More questions
What is Dimzang Labs?

Dimzang Labs is a Ghanaian health technology and biotechnology company based in Accra. We are developing EDDS, an AI-assisted platform for understanding biological change over time, and pursuing research into regenerative biology.

Is EDDS available to use?

Not yet. EDDS is a working prototype in development. It is not clinically validated and is not available to patients or the public. We are working toward structured clinical evaluation with partners.

Does EDDS diagnose disease?

No. EDDS is being designed to organise results over time and flag meaningful change for review by medical experts. A flagged change is a signal to discuss, not a diagnosis.

Is your regenerative research a treatment I can access?

No. Our regenerative medicine work is active research, not a therapy. We do not offer any treatment.

How do you protect personal health data?

This website does not collect health information, so please don't send any through our forms or email. EDDS is being designed around informed consent, review by medical experts, and collecting only what is needed, in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Privacy Policy.

How can my institution run a pilot or collaborate?

Tell us about your organisation and what you'd like to explore through the partnership enquiry form. Our team reviews every submission and follows up to start the conversation.
